Urban Lighting Master Plan Public Meeting 3 & Lighting Tour

On Tuesday, October 9, 2018 the final public meeting for the Urban Lighting Master Plan was held. The meeting detailed an update on lighting for streets and parks, including a look at hierarchies for light poles, color of light, light intensity and other community-wide strategies. After the presentation attendees were guided through an informative tour to view three building facade demonstrations. We received the valuable feedback needed to provide the adequate recommendations for streets, parks, and building in and around the the designated downtown area. The goal is to provide solutions that acknowledge historic preservation, safety, and aesthetic concerns.
