Provided mechanical and electrical design services for a new building to house South Texas Public Broadcasting System’s television and radio broadcasting studios and offices. The one-story 16,000 SF building will be built adjacent to the Center for Economic Development on the Del Mar College Campus and will facilitate collaborations between the two institutions. Sustainable design efforts included high-efficiency lighting and occupancy sensor controls, daylighting, variable refrigerant flow systems, demand/control ventilation, and building automation systems based on the LonWorks program.
