Founded in 1985, Alderson and Associates, Inc. (AAI) is a San Antonio based consulting firm that provides comprehensive mechanical, plumbing, electrical engineering and commissioning services to public and private sector clients. Our staff of 23 professionals includes 8 PE's with LEED BD+C, LEED AP & Green Associate accreditation and Commissioning Authority (CxA).
For over 26 years, we have utilized contemporary design techniques to deliver efficient security, communication, HVAC, audio/video, fire suppression, lighting, water, air, energy conservation/distribution and commissioning services. Alderson provides comprehensive MEP design services for renovations, upgrades and new construction of medical and lab facilities, K-12 and higher education, municipal facilities, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, governmental, and mission critical facilities.
Alderson is committed to producing energy-conscious designs that improve quality of life, reduce maintenance and usage costs, and comply with regulatory, ADA, and environmental requirements. To ensure that buildings operate at optimal efficiency and performance, we provide comprehensive commissioning services and have extensive experience involving MEP and control systems for new building construction.

Projects in the News
Haven for Hope was honored with two 2011 Housing Awards by the American Institute of Architects. The project received the National Housing Award in the Specialty Housing category and the HUD Secretary Housing Award. Alderson provided MEP design services to Valla Design Group for the renovation of a 5,000 sq ft Security Building (pictured right) and 35,000 sq ft medical/dental clinic. Read More
